John Atkinson MW is employed by Champagne house Billecart-Salmon. He passed the MW exam in 1999, winning the Villa Maria prize for viticulture, and the Madame Bollinger tasting medal. He owns a vineyard in the UK, and lectures around the world on cool-climate viticulture.
