History:

Château Bergat lies on southern egde of Saint-Emilion’s limestone plateau, to the west of the town and right next door to the 1er Grand Cru Classé vineyards of Château Trottevieille. It is today owned jointly by the Preben-Hansen family and Emile Castéja, whose family owns the prominent négociant Borie Manoux as well as other leading châteaux in the area. The estate is managed by Philippe Castéja.
