History:

Château Franc Mayne sits right at the heart of the commune, on the flanks of Saint-Emilion’s limestone plateau. It was once owned by Libourne négociant Theillasoubre, but in 1984 was acquired by AXA-Millésimes from Theillasoubre’s nephew, who had died without heirs. In 1996, the estate changed hands again – it was bought by Belgian entrepreneur Georgy Fourcroy – but since 2004 it has been owned by Hervé Van Malderen-Laviale and his wife Griet Laviale.
