Bodega DiamAndes is a stunning winery at 1,000 metres high in the Andes foothills (Mendoza – Uco Valley).
Visit Bodega DiamAndes
We invite you to enter into the world of Bodega DiamAndes that features tailor-made activities for wine and wild-nature lovers. Discover the circular barrel-cellar, the crypt, the tasting rooms, the 40 seats’ auditorium, the wine bar… Then take time to taste DiamAndes wines pairing with delicious local and organic selected home-made food, contemplating the stunning Andean landscape from one of the winery’s terraces!
Located in the Uco Valley, in the foothills of the Andes, Bodega DiamAndes has produced a range of intense, elegant wines since its creation in 2005. It is owned by the Bonnie family, who also manage Château Malartic-Lagravière, a Grand Cru Classé in Graves, and Château Gazin Rocquencourt in Léognan (south of Bordeaux). Produced exclusively from grapes from DiamAndes’ single block of 130 hectares of vines, these wines are popular with wine lovers all over the world.
The terroir benefits from ideal conditions. Michel Rolland, the consultant oenologist and a partner in Clos de los Siete, of which DiamAndes is a part, was quick to realize its potential.
The sandy-clay soil with a lot of pebbles is perfectly drainfull and the high altitude location (1100m), with strong diurnal range of temperature enables the tannins to give a maximum of complexity and flexibility to the wines. The winery has been also designed to accommodate the public: there is no better way to enjoy DiamAndes wines that to taste them with the winery’s team, feeling DiamAndes’ soul!
Indeed, in the conception of Bodega DiamAndes, particular importance was given to the quality of the visitor’s experience, not only in showing the best possible winemaking facilities, but also taking advantage of the unique natural surroundings that inspired the project. The welcoming center has an auditorium for up to 40 people, in which videos are projected. A VIP tasting room and a small kitchen are also available to customers visiting the premises. All kind of tasting are available, from regular one to the most complex DiamAndes blend class Academy, where each people is doing is one blend!
The facilities are also open to the public for small events & meetings.
Additionally, there is a wine bar with capacity for some 40 people allows visitors to taste a selection of wines with food after a tour of the winery. On the lowest of the winery’s four floors lays a Vintages Crypt – a cellar destined to keep the outstanding wines and each vintage produced at Bodega DiamAndes for years to come, as well as special wines from around the world. It is here that the Bodega DiamAndes story will rest, alongside other exceptional wines, represented in each of its wines and thus sealing the Bonnie family’s dream.
Furthermore, ‘La Casa Bonnie’, the private owner’s home, is also open to our guests. The ‘Diamond menu‘ – a seven-course menu – is proposed by our chef with a tailored pairing for each meal. If you decide to stay more, four suite-rooms are available, each with terrace and Andes-Mountains view.
At DiamAndes, all is made to live an incredible and unique experience! Enter into the world of bodega DiamAndes!
