Through each of their wines, Zuccardi expresses the essence of the wines origin: the unrepeatable combination of climate, soil, altitude, and the hand of man.

In 1963, Ing. Alberto Zuccardi planted a vineyard in the region of Maipu, not knowing that it would be the beginning of the great passion of his life, the wine industry. In 1990, his son, José Alberto Zuccardi, assumed the General Directorate of the company. In 2005, Sebastián Zuccardi, third generation of the family, led the development in the Uco Valley. Thanks to him, the winery has had an area of Research and Development dedicated to the study of the terroir and the different variables that affect wine production since 2008. Construction started on the new Zuccardi Valle de Uco Valley winery in 2013, now just opened in March 2016. Its philosophy is to produce wines with identity, through the continuous exploration of the different terroirs of the Uco Valley.

Each line of Zuccardi wines represents a concept, a belief, a tribute, and is the true expression of the vineyard where it was conceived.

The new Zuccardi Valle de Uco winery is a tribute to the austere and solemn mountain which defines the climate and the soils of the region. The construction “emerges” from the soil and truly “belongs” to it because it is made with natural elements: local, white calcareous stone, and concrete. Imposing stone walls and concrete vats guard the wines. There are no steel tanks at this winery, as it seeks maximum respect for the wine, in an environment of cleanliness and silence.

Hospitality: Visits and Restaurant

Visiting Zuccardi Valle de Uco is a unique experience. Visitors are invited to discover the winery, the vineyards and learn about the characteristics and particularities of the soils that give identity to our wines.

The winery offers tours and tastings from Wednesday to Friday at 11 am or at 4pm. Reservations must be made in advance. Visitors can pick different levels of tastings after the tour.

Sorrounded by the Andes mountain, Piedra Infinita Cocina is a unique culinary experience. Through wide windows the landscape can be seen and is integrated with the setting and makes the visitor feel as if they are eating in the middle of the vineyards.

The Executive Chef, Matías Aldasoro, together with renowned Argentinian chef Fernando Trocca, have created a menu based on the use of regional and seasonal products, all of which are paired with Zuccardi wines.

Those who want to learn and live the whole experience can choose to eat at the Chef’s Table, next to the grill.

The restaurant can cater for up to 50 people and is open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday, with prior reservation.
