11am - 12.30pm: Burgundy: Corton Grand Cru Wines - £225

Speaker:Charles Curtis MW

Join Decanter Burgundy correspondent Charles Curtis MW to explore this broad, complex terrain in depth. Curtis will lead a tasting of both red and white wines— all grand cru — spanning vintages from 2008 to 2020 and coming from all three villages allowed to use the Corton name: Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny. Wines will range from Domaine Bonneau du Martray’s Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2018 to Domaine Faiveley’s ‘Clos des Cortons Faiveley’ Monopole, Corton Grand Cru 2009. This is an exceptional opportunity to taste top grand cru wines, in the company of a leading expert.

Speakers: Olga Fusari, Ornellaia Oenologist/Winemaker and Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW

Winemaker Olga Fusari will lead guests through eight vintages of Ornellaia’s eponymous, flagship wine in this exclusive masterclass. Spanning four decades, from new-release Ornellaia 2020 back to the 1990 vintage, it is a rare chance to explore the DNA of this sought-after ‘SuperTuscan’ wine.

4pm - 5.30pm: Moueix: Limestone vs Gravel on Bordeaux’s Right Bank - £225

Speaker:Edouard Moueix, General Manager, Vignobles Jean-Pierre Moueix

Edouard Moueix will lead a tasting of Bélair-Monange and La Fleur-Pétrus wines to help guests to compare the influence of gravel soils in Pomerol and limestone in St-Emilion. Wines will include highly rated Bordeaux vintages, such as 2018, 2016 and 2010, as well as La Fleur-Pétrus 1998. This promises to be a fascinating tasting that illuminates the signature styles of Bordeaux’s Right Bank.
