Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Discreet but intense blackcurrant nose. Rich, juicy, supple, with attractive acidity to lift the palate. This has precision and poise, and ripeness without blowsiness. Not especially complex now but fresh and elegant, with fine potential.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Nose subdued and dull, big tannins and acidity. Not much fun.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Rich berry fruit but rather too robust and chunky and a bit on the sweet side, good broad fruit and good depth and good Cabernet Medoc, just a bit raw now, but will soften out to be a good wine
