Envoy
Manufacturer:
Melanie Brown
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Toasty bready nuances, citrus fruits, with ched conference caramelised pears. This wine will benefit from ageing, and alcohol and fruit components will balance out with time. Giving a full bodied and well structured wine.
Roger Jones
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Sweet brioche on the nose, toasty, slight perfume. Lovely rich lingering texture which evolves on the palate, long luxurious finish of roasted tropical fruit with sauce anglaise. This goes on and on, a wine to drink now or keep. Tantlising citrus and tropical fruits continue to bounce around afterwards.
Peter McCombie
Tasting: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Aromatic, woody & grassy, but oddly confected – smoky bacon crisps.
