Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Sweet ripe apricot nose. Good attack, fresh and crisp, and ample concentration, leading to a more stony mid-palate. But it doesn’t seem that complex though the minerality adds interest to the finish. Quite good length.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

A bit reductive on the nose and a little prickly. The palate is nutty, pure and has good acid with a leaner middle than you might expect. Finish is long.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Nicely floral, dry herbs nose and beautifully balanced fruit/acidity. Still a bit on the citrussy side, but very good middle fruit and good length, and minerally, structured finish.
