Perrieres

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Bright lemon curd nose, with a slight grassiness – brisk rather than powerful, with elegant oak giving some charm. Fresh, very ripe, delicate, concentrated, yet a bit one-dimensional. The finish is stony and long. Very attractive overall, but a bit slight for Perrieres. Good length.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Smoky and toasty nose with ripe peach and apricot. The palate is intense and rich, and the oak is still prominent but there are many more layers. The wine has good acidity and structure to support the oak, with a good clean finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Some florality, dominated by yellow summer fruits, very good expression of white peach and stony Perrieres fruit and great grip and length. A very fine example of this Cru, with a great future.
