Henri de Villamont

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Muted mineral nose. Lean, taut, racy, and zesty, not a fruit-forward style but has drive and finesse, with the tension that Blagny should deliver. Quite good length

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Tight on the nose, discreet, some citrus. The palate is dry, with fresh acid and lots of lime juice flavours good minerality and length. It is intense but lacking in finesse.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Lifted and spicy nose with fresh apple present. Very marked citrussy acidity, but this is matched by very elegant fruit and a firm lemony finish. Has a very good future. Really fine and elegant.
