Olivier Leflaive

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Closed nose yet still shows some minerality. Rich and concentrated, with fine underlying acidity that gives poise and finesse. Pungent and direct, and a bit one-dimensional now, but has a lively citric persistence that bodes well. Elegant and long.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

The nose is open with smoky, yellow spices and ripe apricot, lots going on. Palate is rich and textured, with lovely acidity bringing balance to the smoky oak and stone fruits. The finish is long mineral.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Floral white flowers and white fruits, elegant citrussy nose. Very good fruit, still backed by lemony acidity and oak beautifully blended in, full of vibrancy and almost grippy fruit, while having great depth and length. Very good wine, very good future.
