Stephen Brook

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Lean but pure blackcurrant nose, quite restrained and elegant. Sleek, lifted, and pure, far from the typical Napa sumptuousness, but the elegance and coolness are welcome and appealing, even if the wine as a whole lacks some complexity. Quite good length.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Good concentration of black fruits, the oak seems too present. The wine shows a lot of bitter aromas. Alcohol too high.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Blackcurrants. A nice sense of freshness runs through it. Big and chewy, but with lovely surging freshness.
