David Reynaud, Domaine Les Bruyeres, Georges Reynaud, Crozes-Hermitage, Rhône, 2010

Georges Reynaud

  • Grape Variety: Syrah
  • Drink: 2012 - 2020

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Ripe nose, black fruits and espresso. Broad, opulent, creamy, with fine weight of fruit and concentration. Acidity lifts the mid-palate and gives some persistence. Has charm, texture and balance.

Simon Field MW

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Potent boudoir aromas, fruit skin and over-ripe pear; palate is rounded and long, a good example.

John Livingstone-Learmonth

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Restrained nose, pepper, dust, black fruit, violet trace. Chunky start, gummy, dense black fruit, builds up tar and lingering darkness, with earthy and rose-hip notes towards end. Tannins ripe, within. More weight than first seems, is long.
