Monte Bernardi

Richard Baudains

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Flat, dry, tired, oxidised.

Emily O'Hare

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Pale red, good nose – savoury and sweet all at once, doesn’t feel international but does feel modern Italian, low yields, concentrated fruit. Very good, assertive tannins and acid, ripe fruit, long dry bitter finish.

Michael Palij

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Beguiling nose with Oriental spice rubbing shoulders with blackcurrant, floral notes and an earthy wholesomeness. Palate is dense, textured, complex, aromatic, lovely in every way. Excellent stuff.
