Hurley Vineyard

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clear and light. Soft, sweet, gentle but beguiling: sugar-mouse Pinot, but with a lovely cherry-ish undercurrent to it. Smooth, light, gentle, fresh: super-soft and caressing, wonderfully easy to drink, the kind of Pinot you want to hand around elsewhere and say: Look everyone! Wine doesn’t need to shout to be good! Wine doesn’t need a wall of acidity to last! Hyper-drinkable and digestible and those are very high qualities in my book.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clean, fresh, tantalising fruit. Intense berries with great freshness, soft, mellow, creamy texture at end.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Pronounced, spicy and complex with notes of raspberries and balsamic on the nose. Elegant, silky texture, light spicy notes and a long aftertaste on the palate.
