Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Fresh, red fruit nose; fresh red fruit flavour within a fine, dry tannin, but a clear 1er cru finesse and perfume here., Long and gently sweet flavour, real finesse and complexity – fine, complete, classy Volnay, fragrant, delicate, typical. Very nice indeed this.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Good young colour, violet rim. Attractive summer fruits nose, nicely concentrated fruit, oak blended in, firm and fresh tannins, still a little green, but will soften out to be an attractive, if light, wine.

Tasting: Volnay 1er Cru 2010

Appealing perfumed fruit nose, good density and weight on the delicate and fine palate. Slight hint of green, but overall good density and perfume with elegant, balancing tannins. Medium, vibrant fruit finish.
