Abbotts & Delaunay, Merlot 2015

This is a joint venture between two winemakers from different sides of the world: Nerida Abbot from Australia and Laurent Delaunay from Burgundy. This wine has plenty of plum fruit on the nose, with a hint of sweet, dark cherry. The wine tastes of the south, but without the extraction, keeping it fresh and alive with a spicy intensity on the finish.
