Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Lightly toasty nose, apricots and lime. Quite lush and creamy, a full-bodied style, oaky and spicy, with good if not exceptional acidity. Forward and approachable.Quite long and tangy.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

The nose is open with notes of exotic fruits such as mango and underipe pineapple. The palate is taut with the fruit being backed up by good acid and a backbone of minerality. Medium length and a balanced finish.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Broad, citrussy, slightly nutty nose, both herbaceous and phenolic. Nice, natural ripeness on the palate and lemony acidity to lift it for potential maturity; the citrussy element is currently quite dominant.
