Domaine de Grandmaison 2014

A fresh bright blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, this has plenty of character without being forced, clean freshly cut grass Sauvignon character, fattened up through the mid-palate with regular lees stirring. Only 40% of the wine goes into barrel, with the rest staying in stainless steel. Certainly a feeling of traditional but good quality, unshowy Pessac-Léognan wine.
