Liquorice, cloves, ink and plums. Hot character, rich and compact, young tannins. Long finish with rich tannins.

Touch green on nose, then very tannic and astringent on the palate; this didn’t reach polyphenolic maturity.

Ripe and scented nose with a broad array of toasty fruit aromas. Round and medium-full palate with mature, juicy fruit flavours. Aromatic finish of decent length.
