Rosemary George

Tasting: Languedoc

Some lovely ripe spice on nose and palate. Rounded and harmonious – soft and ripe but no great depth.

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Languedoc

Saturated black-red. Pure and floral in its aromatic style: lots of citrussy lift and charm here. Shapely black fruits beneath those flowers. On the palate, this is bright and floral, though it now becomes obvious that that floral note is on the edge of herbaceous — they’ve just tugged it over the line of true ripeness. Softly textured (for the AOC) and relatively quaffable, thogh very true to place.

Simon Taylor

Tasting: Languedoc

Interesting aromas – hint of tar. Youthful, crisply red-fruited wine, delivering plenty of spice.
