Stephen Brook

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Dumb nose. Ripe and suave but a touch soupy in texture. There’s ample concentration here and no lack of tannic grip, but it’s still a bit austere and needs time. Linear and one-dimensional, but it’s likely to develop complexity with more bottle age. Angular but persistent finish.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Very fruit-driven with a lot of ripe dark fruits. A great example of lighter style Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Restrained, soft nose. Compact in mouth. All elements are a bit unintegrated at the moment. Straightforward.
