Kangarilla Road, Montepulciano 2014

Not a grape often associated with this part of the world, Montepulciano seems to enjoy the Mediterranean-style climate of McLaren Vale. This has an attractive, perfumed nose with aromas of blackcurrant and red cherry fruits. The palate shows concentration that is balanced by an energising freshness and some herbal notes on the finish.
