Richard Baudains

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Leather and cigar box nose. Concentrated tannic palate with cabernet input. Very grippy middle palate and glossy alcoholic finish. Fleshy, over-size for Chianti.

Emily O'Hare

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Feels flat and dumpy. Nose is unattractive, palate says nothing. No.

Michael Palij

Tasting: Chianti Classico Riserva

Hedonistic nose of spice, chocolate, forest floor, tomato and cooked fruit. Modern but deeply attractive nonetheless with a rich, seductive quality to the fruit, ripe tannins and a moreish quality that is hard to resist. Not the most witty wine but one that would welcome you home after a hard day at the office.
