Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

This is very herbaceous. Too much leaf and not enough fruit. Edgy, leafy, green. Sorry but this is surely picked prematurely (or perhaps over-shaded or with an unbalanced crop level)? I just think you need to allow the fruit more ripeness and make a 14.5% Pinot here if need be.

Savoury, soft leather, clean fruit, luscious textures and cedar wood. still lots happening here and like great Burgundy needs time.
