Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Deep red. Lots of oak here; rather hard to peep beneath. Oaky on the palate, too, rather swallowing and suffocating the fruits. I’m not convinced they are going to emerge.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Robust, savoury nose. Very savoury on palate, with intense, penetrating, ripe raspberry liqueur, lots happening here, maybe a slight too intense for me.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Mint, raspberries on the nose with savoury notes. Rustic and complex texture with a medium-long aftertaste of mint and chocolate. Needs time.
