Deep colour, young violet rim. Well-concentrated black cherry fruit on the nose and lots of black fruits on the palate. Oak still present giving some spicy notes, quite ripe and rich and will show well as a modern, fruit-forward Volnay.

Lots of wood, strawberry and black fruit. Very woody, with dense notes cassis on palate, tannins present but fairly fine, and decent length. Not as pure and clear as it could be
