Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Full green-gold. Quiet, subtle scents of sap and birch leaf. Another very tangy wine, with a high wall of acidity which it is quite hard to penetrate.

Well balanced with lovely floral and clean stone fruit, layers of fruit then pour into the palate with a lovely freshness of a river, some lovely saltiness from the sea breeze. This is an exciting fresh clean fruit driven wine with very clever oak managenent.

Peaches and tinned apricots on the nose, very pure. Full bodied, tropical fruit character and creamy texture. Med long aftertaste. Pure and simple.
