Tar, liquorice and meaty notes rather than vibrant black fruit styling. A big, bold, fully extracted style, powerful and heady, port-like. Mouth-numbing and hot finish.

Intense, quite marked by the oak, shows ripe and overripe fruit after aeration. Powerful, a bit too warm,, with very nice fruit and some minerality. Long, not very open,

Oak, vanilla, mint, grassiness line up with the roasted fruit on the nose. Dense extracted fruit, with a punch of acidity, followed by chalky tannins. Weighty, almost hefty, long and concentrated. A bold Porty approach to Bierzo.
