Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Sweet cherry nose, a touch reserved but has ample fruit. Quite rich, suave, concentrated, and spicy, with plenty of vigour and zest rather than depth of flavour. Light tannins give a little grip and structure, but this is not for long ageing. Fairly good length, and a rather dry finish.

bright light purple ruby;
fresh, clean fruitiness on nose;
medium bodied attack, food fruit on mid-palate, finish shows light tannins and acidity.

Youthful, powerful nose, not yet gracious but good intensity. Rounded, full bodied, a few wood tannins, acidity in balance and properly persistent. Should be accessible soon.
