Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Bright cassis and blackberry nose has some lift and charm. Very slightly herbaceous but that also gives some freshness and a red-fruit tang to the palate. Not much substance here but reasonably balanced. Quite good length.

The wine shows a very light intensity on the nose with notes of fresh prune, plum and a delicate scent of tobacco. The palate is fresh, vibrant with a great panel of black fruits. The alcohol is generous.

Gently fruity nose. Quite high-toned in mouth. A surge of blue fruit in the middle. Persistent and long.
