1. What is ‘Italy 2005’?

Decanter’s Italy Guide has been a meeting point for top wines from Italy and Decanter’s international readers for more than a decade. Published every year at the beginning of December its cover date heralds the following year, in this case ‘Italy 2005’.

‘Italy 2005’
100 pages are exclusively given over to Italian wines, providing a much appreciated and authoritative source of information on top Italian wines from authors who are experts on the Italian wine scene.

The supplement ‘Italy 2005’ is distributed at various key moments throughout 2005:

(a) First with the January 2005 edition (published on 6 December 2004)
(b) Then at Vinitaly from Decanter’s stand
(c) Then at the London Wine Trade Fair, from Decanter’s stand
(d) Then at Vinexpo 2005, from Decanter’s stand

‘Italy 2005’ is read by Decanter’s uniquely qualified readers:

(a) Wine lovers, with money to spend, from the general public
(b) Wine trade distributors
(c) Sommeliers and restaurateurs
(d) All at a very international level (Decanter is distributed in 85 countries), mainly UK, northern Europe, USA and Canada, Australia and the Far East.

Founded in 1975, we write about wines and spirits from everywhere in the world. The editorial is written from the consumer’s point of view, but the magazine is read by both Wine Trade and Consumers. Advertising Agencies use us for both Trade and Consumer Advertising campaigns.
