Dine with the producers and gain a unique insight into some of the world’s greatest wines at this, the gourmet highlight of Decanter’s Fine Wine Encounter weekend. Enjoy world-renowned wines perfectly accompanied by a specially created gourmet menu as the producers reveal the story behind each special wine.

The evening gets off to the perfect sparkling start as guests sip the elegant Champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs NV en magnum under the stars in the Landmark Gazebo, introduced by Guy de Rivoire. Dinner will be served in the oak paneled dining room where Rowald Hepp will introduce the first wine of the evening, the delicious Schloss Vollrads Riesling Qualitatswein 1er Gewachs 2002. Pierre Lurton will introduce the next spectacular wine of this wonderful evening: Château d’Yquem, the most famous and sought after of all sweet wines. Next a true treat for Bordeaux lovers as Château Pichon-Longueville Baron’s Technical Director, Jean-René Matignon, introduces the outstanding 1990 vintage from this classic Pauillac Grand Cru Classé. Michael Broadbent awarded Solaia 1997 five stars and Decanter is honored that Marchese Piero Antinori himself will be joining us to introduce this legendary wine. Cockburn’s port will provide the pefect end to this luxurious evening.
