For those seeking a Barossa blockbuster, here's another strong vintage of this bone-dry but intensely ripe and well-extracted Shiraz, that includes 3% Durif and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Grunt overwhelms grace, but you can't deny the generosity of spiced bramble conserve, bonfire toffee, charred oak and inky notes as well as the plush mouthfeel. A lovely winter warmer, perfect for a shepherd's pie or hotpot.
