Errazuriz, Wild Ferment Chardonnay, Casablanca Valley, 2014

Tasted by: Christelle Guibert
A top name in Chile, Errazuriz owns vineyards in Aconcagua, Casablanca and Curico. Natural yeasts are used here, with 10% French oak for fermentation, resulting in a balanced wine full of bright citrus fruit, a subtle sweet oak nose, a creamy texture and brisk acidity.

A stylish and savoury, Puligny-esque Chardonnay showing toasted nuts and lemon pith. Fruit is a touch sweet on the finish, but it’s very moreish and good value.
