Crafted by the Tessandier family, this is a Haut-Médoc red blend driven by Merlot. Mushroom and savoury spices lead to oaky smokiness, blackberry and prunes. It's more youthful and robust on the palate. Solid tannins support a savoury, balanced core of smoked meat, dark plum juice and dried herbal spices. Dark berries linger on the finish. A juicy, well-structured claret offering great value at £14 per bottle.
