Drinking Window: 2018 - 2028
Deep in colour and still tight, the tannins very much closed. This is a powerful but austere wine, not giving a whole lot away, I thoroughly recommend that if you are going to drink it now, make sure you have it with food to bring it alive. It's a notch or two lower in ripeness than the last two vintages in this vertical, but there is still plenty to enjoy here if you give it time in the glass. Again, menthol notes arise on the close of play. (NB: Bottle label may not correspond to precise vintage)
