A golden colour in the glass, incredible aromatics, almost like a Sauternes freshly squeezed orange, honey and hazelnuts with lemon juice and pith. Juicy and weighty, the Semillon adds a texture and weight to the palate while the Gris adds florality and the Sauvignon Blanc gives a mouthwatering element. This really has a floral edge, violets and creaminess and then hint of toast and nuts on the finish. Still feels quite young but after a good air will reveal more complexity and nuance. More of a gastronomic wine than for apero - pair with rich foods, chicken, foie gras or scallops. Ends clean. A blend of 60% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Sauvignon Gris.
