Château Montfollet, Icône, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, 2022

A floral edge to the 100% Sauvignon Blanc aromatics with soft herbal flecks, vanilla and a bit of green fruit. Lively and forward, this excites on the palate, not super strict or tart, a lovely soft balance of acidity, florality and juiciness. Balanced and harmonious with green apple, lots of wet stone minerality and a creamy, light finish. Smooth and well handled. Still feels a little young, but very pretty.
