St-Georges St-Emilion might be the smallest appellation in Bordeaux, but this 45 hectare property is the biggest estate, perched on the region's highest hill. It shows lovely maturity of plummy Merlot fruit, peppery spice and earthy notes on a full-bodied, round palate enlivened by fresh acidity.
