Clos Cantenac, Elégance Rosé du Clos Cantenac, Bordeaux 2021

Delicate nose and palette - the hint of strawberry sweetness is perfectly balanced by racy acidity and a weightiness to the palate that makes you think it’s serious yet totally quaffable. Delicate raspberries, lemon citrus juice and a touch of sherbet gives a zing and persistent length at the end. Balanced and soft. Very pleasurable but still with bite and depth. A very easy drinking yet detailed rose. Made entirely in small 7hl concrete eggs. The light blush pink colour and bottle shape are both beautiful too.
