Château de la Terriére, Vin Sauvage a Poil, Beaujolais

These 60-year-old vines from the lieu-dit of La Siberie have produced a wine that's tight and minerally, with a hint of mint and hedgerow on the nose followed by a savoury, meaty palate. It's perhaps too young at the moment, but it has potential over the next few years.
