Domaine de la Bonne Tonne, Côte du Py, Beaujolais, Morgon

The famed lieu-dit of Côte du Py has produced a lovely Morgon here. It has floral lift on the nose followed by a good concentration of bright, ripe raspberry and strawberry fruit on the palate, joined by a moreish vanilla and wood character that builds towards the finish before releasing to reveal a terracotta-like minerality.
