Domaine Matrot, Vieilles Vignes, Maranges, 2013

Drinking Window: 2015 - 2018
Domaine Matrot is one of Burgundy's oldest estate bottlers, in the family since the early 1900s. Thierry Matrot joined the domaine in 1976 and took over the vinification from 1983. This wine has ripe fruit aromas with notes of red cherry and spice. Fresh with grippy tannins and intense ripe black fruit characters, nice complexity too. The perfect everyday wine.
