Jura is fast becoming one of France's trendiest wine regions, and this great value example of the local fizz is developing a bit of a cult following at Aldi, apparently. It's easy to see why - it's different enough to stand out from the usual suspects of sub-£20 Champagne, Prosecco and other French cremants; it's also well-priced at £7.99; and most importantly, it tastes great. The full-flavoured, creamy character with lemon and green apple flavours develops richer notes of spiced apple and tangerine as it works through your mouth, lifted by some fresh acidity.
