This blend of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache from 30-year-old vines is not in the same quality or price bracket as Bernard Magrez's Château Pape-Clément in Bordeaux, but it offers easy drinking with maturing fig and currant flavours alongside ultra-ripe brambles and oaky notes of vanilla and spice.
