Guy Allion, Emile Wines Rosé, Touraine, Loire, France 2021

A fresh and zesty pale rosé from the Loire. This is led by citrus characters on the nose, grapefruit and lemon with a touch of fennel, white pepper and green bell pepper. That green note comes through on the palate too, it may come across as a little austere, but I like the tautness, it gives a tang to the olive brine finish.
