Machon’s younger-vine cuvée, from Syrah grown in Beaumont-Monteux. Wilder on the nose than some Crozes, with an animal note emerging: smoked bacon, charcuterie. Palate has satisfying weight, length, juiciness. Still fresh and complex now.
