Domaine Michelas St.Jemms, La Chasselière, Crozes-Hermitage, 2018

A blend of different terroirs around Crozes-Hermitage, this has a lovely fragrance of warm spices and incense. Rounded and fruity but very fresh. Good intensity and grip. A rich vintage: opulent and seductive, not overly ripe or jammy. Oak is liberally applied, but it’s well integrated for an opulent style.
